11-12  Heritage Days at the Oscoda County Fairgrounds is a more relaxed version of the Fair than we've had
the  past 2 years. Think of a big Community Camp-out at a lovely place under the trees with space for the kids to ride
bikes, see animals, play games, and do crafts with no worries for mom and dad. View some great historical displays
and old-time craft demonstrations.  Gather around a campfire Friday evening with free s'mores and music. Bring your
harmonica or guitar and play along! There's a Pancake Breakfast, Cowboy Church, and big, free Horse show on
Saturday. Other fair-type food is available too. Take a horse or wagon ride, or join a trail ride on your own horse. Clear
and cold Smith Lake with beach is just down the road. There's no admission fee! Camping is only $10 per night for
rustic, $20 for electric. Call Carol at 826-3625 to register to camp.
